Breeding Schedule & Sales
We have decided to take time off from breeding to focus on some other areas of our farm - the next kidding season is planned for 2021.
Kidding photos from 2016 are HERE, and 2017 and 2018 kids can be found on facebook.

Do you really want a goat?
Are you new to goats? Here are a few things you should know:
Nigerian Dwarf goats are excellent dairy goats, they have great personalities, they come in a zillion different colors, and they are small enough to easily handle. They are nearly perfect, if you ask us.
Goats are herd animals and so they need herd companions and should never live alone. No matter how awesome you are you are not a herd animal. We will not sell you a single goat unless you already have at least one.
Goats are hardy but they still need proper shelter and a proper diet. There is a lot of goat care information available so do your homework and research everything out there until you are totally confused, and then read some more and talk to people with experience. Only then you will be ready to make educated decisions. If you contact us we will happily consult with you about what we have learned, and if you purchase a goat from us you will have a goat mentor for life, should you want one. We certainly appreciate the goat mentors in our life -- 'special shout out to Cheryl! To begin your research feel free to check out the Links page on this site.
Goats make tasty treats for canines, including your neighbor's dog and the prowling coyotes. Proper fencing is something you must research and budget for, as cutting corners here could spell disaster. Again, do your homework. Goat fencing is more about keeping predators out than it is about keeping your goats contained, although that's pretty important, too.
Goats do not eat tin cans but they may want to nibble on your landscaping, and many of your shrubs are deadly. Again - do your research so you know what not to plant or at least what to keep your herd away from.
Goats need regular veterinary care, just like all of your pets. A pleasant surprise is that your local large animal vet is probably more reasonable than your local small animal vet when it comes to prices. But still, budget for annual costs as well as the dreaded emergency visits.
Goats are addictive. You may think "oh I only want two cute pet goats" and then end up with a barn full. We speak from experience.

Reservations & Sales Policies: the Nitty Gritty
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO RETAIN ANY GOAT BORN ON OUR FARM, regardless of reservations.
Our quality registered does will be bred to only quality registered bucks. Kids will all be dam raised when possible, handled daily and well socialized with people. We work hard to keep our small herd of purebred goats happy & healthy, and no animal will be sold unless we feel they are in optimum health. In the summer of 2015, the whole herd tested negative for CAE and Johnnes. We have never had CL on our farm.
Reservations
We will maintain a Private Reservation List. A reservation is not a commitment to purchase, nor does a reservation guarantee that a buyer will have claim on a particular kid from a particular breeding. To place a reservation, please send us an email. Buck reservations: only the best will be left intact. We reserve the right to wether any of our bucks if we feel they do not meet our expectations.
Deposits
We require a deposit of $50 to hold the goat of your choice. If we receive a deposit on a goat, it will be marked on this site as “Sale Pending”. Deposits are our way of confirming your interest on a goat. Without a deposit, we have the right to sell the animal to somebody else. Final payment must be paid in cash (or a check that has already cleared) and in full before the animal leaves the farm. If you decide to place a deposit on a goat and you change your mind, deposits are not refundable, but may be transferred to your next choice goat if one is available. If you see a kid you like and it is labeled as "Sale Pending" you are encouraged to inquire about it as the sale is not final. Only after a goat is paid in full will it be considered as and labeled on this page as "Sold".
Before Leaving Our Farm
Goat kids will be disbudded unless polled (naturally hornless), tattooed, vaccinated for CD&T and up to date on deworming and coccidia prevention prior to pickup. Kids are expected to be picked up after weaning which is around 8-10 weeks of age. If previous arrangements were not made with us, kids not picked up within that time frame will be charged a $3/day boarding fee. Males will be wethered (castrated males/pets) unless we decide they are stud quality and we have a buck buyer.
All our kids are sold as registered with AGS and NDGA papers.
Prices: Does $300 Wethers $150
We will not ship our kids.
Questions? Shoot us an email.
We reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone who we feel will not be an appropriate owner of any of our goats. Our goats will never be sold for meat, but only to folks who want them for pets, show, dairy and/or breeding. References may be required.
