Holland Lop Rabbits

Norman is our resident Holland Lop, and I am hoping to add a doe and start a very small scale breeding program. Right now, Norm is pretty happy with his stuffed apple girlfriends.

Like any animal that joins our family, I took a great deal of time researching my rabbit breeds before deciding on a Holland Lop. I based my decision on temperament, size and cuteness factor.

< I LOVE THIS CAGE
Keeping your bun clean is vital to its health and happiness, and this cage makes that an easy task. The Precision Pet Rabbit Resort Rabbit Cage is available online through many merchants, but I purchased mine from Petco as they had the best price at the time. Norman lives in a "Large", which I recommend regardless of the size of your bunny. Bigger is better when it comes to your rabbit's house.  Bunnies prefer to take care of business in one corner of their cage, so once they decide what corner, pop in a corner litter pan with shavings, and then just empty and refill that with fresh shavings every morning. The pull-out bottom pan of this particular cage can be cleaned out and filled with fresh shavings less often as most of everything happens in the litter pan. Your bunny is clean and your daily chores are minimal!
